Google Update Panda 4.2
The latest Google update, Panda 4.2 is rolling out slowly over the next few months. In some cases SEO experts have seen increase in rank for some pages, followed by a loss in page rank back to about the same position. This new rollout, according to Google should take a few months before all pages have been indexed. If this is the case, then it is possible fluctuations in ranking may be due to various pages within the site being indexed and shuffled. Although you may notice changes in your rankings, this newest Panda update should not cause any major drops or increases in page rank. Many believe the update is focused mainly on assessing the quality of each page and the way Google views “quality” has been revisited. Again however, you most likely won’t see major changes, and some rankings may stay about the same.
So what do you do to make sure your site is ranking well?
The best advice for high page rank is still the same advice I’ve given for the last 5 years. That is if you want to be ranked well for your products and services in your area, then build pages that are high quality, interesting, and targeted geographically.
